Game Center Design and the Elevator Conundrum



Based on the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, a business can provide “equivalent facilitation” to those with disabilities. So we don’t have to get guarantee you a space on the top floor to play games, but we need to find a place for you to play *somewhere* with an equivalent experience, even if that means your entire game or group moves downstairs. It comes with a boatload of complications though in making sure this is enforced.
